CHANGING PERCEPTIONS ON DISABILITY IN EMPLOYMENT

Posted on 15th March 2019

At Netbox Recruitment, we do all we can to provide a refreshing approach to recruitment. As such, we are very proud to be working alongside The Education People and Kent Supported Employment to promote their latest employability event.

The event, which takes place at Sessions House, Maidstone on the 20th March invites business leaders and employers to discover how other businesses in Kent are benefiting from the pool of talent of people with Autism and sensory disabilities.

Forerunners in business will be sharing their experiences of employing people with Autism and sensory impairment. In addition, the event will explore how attendees and wider businesses can benefit from such hiring and the support that Kent Supported Employment can offer to become a more inclusive employer.

There will be presentations from Microsoft, The Education People, Ronnie Wilson MBE from First Step Trust, Paul Andrews from Jobs in Kent and from people with a disability who are in employment.

Lunch will be provided on the day and admission if free. Places are limited so please register your interest now.
